Today, I met a person who influenced me by his thought. He was client from Hartford. He gave very simple formula about how worthy are you. no of available person/ no of aspire person to do that job. the higher the ratio, the higher will be your worthiness in terms of money.

Be passionate, be different, be active and be 10/10 responsible on what you do. Strongest message to inspire one to work hard..

Movie review - 7 khoon maaf

Its wrong to categories this movie as thriller or romantic or tragedy. Its simple story with all the twist and turns being very clear.

Story starts with a usual drama to create a story line. At first seems a little bit confusing with the narrating voice and whats happening around. Needed some thought to recollect. I like the ending of the movie and it was the only thing that i couldn't predict in whole movie.

If we talk about the acting then its superb. Purely engrossed in dramatic scenes and surroundings. Except Kashmir shooting and over priyanka's makeup, i don't think director spent money on anything else.

Think and Act.

It will be more fearful if the life wants the compromise and we surrender to it. Fight the biggest fish and get what you want. A confidence lost can never be regained. so fight till death. Every thing is possible and man has proved this in-numerous times. learn from mistake and do not wait for a mistake to be such a bigger in your life that you lost everything in time. Think and Act. Few people write about their achievement and many people just waste time to read them. Decide your utmost goal and then fight for that. Without aim, you are wasting yours and others time on this world. God will not be happy with this.

Ask the turtle story

I came across this beautiful story in the ‘O’ magazine and wanted to share it with you. When asked about lessons learnt in life, Gloria Steinman (social and political activist) shared this real life incident. ‘On a field trip with her geology class near the Connecticut river, Gloria discovered a giant turtle that had climbed up a dirt path, right to the edge of the road. She got worried that it might get run over and wanted to do the right thing. So she wrestled and carried the huge and snapping turtle off the road. As she was putting it back into the river, her geology professor arrived and asked her what she was doing. With some pride she answered how she had ‘rescued’ the turtle. The professor said that the turtle had probably spent a month crawling up the long dirt path in order to safely lay its eggs on the side of the road, and her rescue had destroyed all that effort.’ So of course she felt very bad, but learned a life lesson – always ask the turtle.

Made me think – how often I have seen people don this authoritarian role in their day-to-day lives. Parents do this a lot with their children (since they know what’s best for their children?!). They will keep nagging the child for every little thing which I think hampers his growth to being a more independent and confident adult. Children (even little ones) should be allowed to explore and do their own thing (as long as it is safe).

Some people like to be ‘the fixers’, the ‘go to person’ which is a good thing. But then one has to be very careful of the thin line, which if we cross, we start solving problems which don’t need solving. In the process we burden our already hectic lives. What we need is to step back and ask does this really need fixing? What is going to happen if I don’t? Think about the big picture. Chances are it is not that big a thing. Better if we learn to let go. It’ll add some sanity to our lives and of those around us.

The Pursuit of Excellence - By M V Kamath

Feeling myself lucky to grabbed this book Yesturday night and finished it in one go. Though short, 86 Page book, but gives big meaning to the someone's life who have aspiration to do something good in ones life.

I am not writer by profession or critique by virtue but thought to write few words about this awesome book in the wee hours of morning. I believe if you imbibe this book in your daily act you are not far away from achieving Excellence.

I am jotting down the important messages from this book for your quick review but dont forgot to read the whole book :) This book is full of examples of all the great achievers who excelled in their work.

Toil - To work you have the right but not for the fruits thereof. Ceaseless Toil is the Success mantra of great achievers. Genius is one percent inspiration and ninty nine percent perspiration. Toil without purpose is looking without seeing. The momemt one expects results from it we are sowing the seeds of unhappiness and failure.

Courage - Take calculated risk. Risk will reward. Fear of failure is obstacle in journey of success.

Commitment - Commitment matters the most to achieve the success. If you are commited then you can win the entire world. Excellence will meet you.

Set Standard - Standard defines the personality. If your life is without standards, ruin is sure. Live life full of standards.

Sacrifies - The british are supposed to have sense of humor, the Germans a sense of discipline, the Japanese a sense of unity and Indian is known for Sacrifies. The trees bear fruit, the river carry water , the cows give milk and good men live for good of others.

Responsibility - An irresponsible person is burden to society. Understand your responsibility and do justice with it.

Women's Reservation bill ..how worthy it is..??

Women always suppressed in male dominated society. Be it dowry, domestic voilence, education norms in indian traditional family, in every walk of woman has to make sacrifices.

Womens reservation bill introduced in 1996 by deve gowda rulling party in India. Since then , this bill faced many oppositions and finally on 2010, 8 march it approved in parliament. Brouhaha from various political parties like RJD, SP was against this bill. They stoopified the parliament norms which led to suspension of some politicians for immoral behavior they showed in parliament.

Amongst Strong oppositions, reservations bill passed. This bill bring smile to face of woman genre with 33.33 percentage reservation in indian state and parliament legislation. Panchayat already implemented successfully reservation for woman.

There is always two facets of coin, Head or tail. Similiarly here also there is pros and cons over this issue. Pros being that women now have power in highest citadel of country. she would be more involved in policy making of country. She could better understand all the form of injustice be it in form of human Cons of this aspect is that woman should not represent as proxy for her husband. She should understand her responsiblity and make proper use of power bestowed to her.
